A meeting for celebrating the CPV Party – the Spring 2018
On February 5, at the provincial convention center, the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee solemnly organized a meeting on Saturday to celebrate the 88th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV, February 3, 1930-2018), 50th anniversary of the Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising in spring 1968.

This event saw the attendance of former Vice President Truong My Hoa, former Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee Le Thanh Hai, Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Le Hong Quang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Van Binh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong, the leaders of the province through the periods, etc…

At the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Van Danh reviewed the glorious tradition of the CPV, highlighting the great historical significance of the founding of the CPV on February 3, 1930.
He emphasized that the founding of the CPV is a great turning point in the history of the Vietnamese revolution, marking a milestone in the development of our people over past 88 years. He also reviewed the historical significance of the Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising in spring 1968 in the course of the Vietnamese revolution.
