Deputy PM works with Tra Vinh leaders
ABO/NDO – Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung led a Government delegation to work with the leaders of Tra Vinh province on the implementation of the project on the inland navigation on the Hau River.

The Deputy PM also asked the southern province to review its economic restructuring process, while continuing to improve the local business environment and strengthen the management over the investment process in order to avoid losses.
The government official told Tra Vinh to take advantage of its strengths, particularly the waterway transport system, to contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of local products and connecting with Vietnam’s major economic hubs and foreign countries.
Deputy PM Dung also assigned the Ministry of Transport to review the transportation planning of the whole Mekong Delta region in order to create a smooth connection between inland waterways and maritime routes.
In addition, he asked the Transport Ministry to make appropriate adjustments to the transportation planning of the region while ensuring sufficient compensation for any affected locals.
