During their working session, the NASC gave their opinions on the contents of several draft laws that are of different viewpoints, including the draft Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Education; the draft Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Higher Education; the draft Law on Measurement and Maps; the revised draft Law on Competition; and the draft Law on Special Administrative-Economic Units.

The NASC will also hold a question and answer (Q&A) session; consider the resignation of Ngo Duc Manh as the Ambassador to the Russian Federation; and give opinions on the Decree on funding for the use of public irrigation services and products.

According to NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, the working schedule of the NASC at the 22nd session has been adjusted somewhat. In particular, the NASC will not consider the organisation of a vote of confidence for the person holding positions that was elected and approved by the NA and the People's Councils at this session. The ballot will be made at the second session of the NA this year.

In addition, the submission of three draft laws, including the Law on Coast Guards, the Urban Development and Management Law, and the revised draft Anti-Corruption Law will be postponed due to a lack of comments from some authorities.

During the morning sitting, presided over by NA Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien, the NASC commented on the Decree on funding for the use of public irrigation services and products. They also gave views on different opinions regarding the draft Law on Measurement and Maps.
