President urges inspiring volunteering sprit among police force youth members
ABO/NDO – President Tran Dai Quang has urged youth members under the People's Police to promote their volunteerism in socio-economic development and social security, thereby, spreading their volunteering sprit to other forces.

The State President made the suggestion during a meeting with the outstanding officers and youth members from the police force at the Presidential Palace on March 24, on the occasion of the Youth Month in 2018 and the 87th anniversary of the foundation of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
On behalf of the Party and State, President Quang praised the outstanding achievements that the People's Police Youth Union has achieved in recent years, as well as congratulating 20 Police Youth Union members who were honoured by the Ministry of Public Security with the 2017 "Police Youth Member of the Year" award.
He stated that, through various movements, there have been many examples of youth union members who have bravely overcome hardships and sacrifice in the struggle for national security protection and for the peace and happiness of the people.

He emphasised that the task of the People's Police in general, and the police youth in particular, is to maintain national security, social order and security in every situation amidst the international integration process.
The State President requested that police forces at all levels strengthen the political and ideological education for their youth members, thus inspiring their dreams, aspirations and beliefs.
He also expressed his wish that every youth union member in the police force would strengthen their efforts in studying, training and serving the Fatherland and the people.
