* Tan Phu Dong district:

"To boldly change the incompetent cadres who have been given time to strive but no change to supplement the new human resources" was one of the instructions of Secretary of the Tien Giang Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Van Danh at the working session with the Standing Committee of the Tan Phu Dong district Party Committee.

The Standing Committee of Tan Phu Dong district Party Committee made recommendations such as: To build the martyrs district; to invest in the infrastructure of Tan Thoi-Binh Ninh ferry wharf according to the ferry standard on the provincial road; to add means for Tan Long ferry.

The district also proposed the extension of the 877B provincial road (the section stretching from Phao Dai to Con Ngang islet) to create leverage to attract investment and develop tourism; to expand sewers through Kinh Nhiem dyke (in Phu Thanh commune); To invest in the dike system in the district to prevent and combat climate change, sea level rise and production protection, etc...

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh suggested that Tan Phu Dong district focused on research to find solutions to attract investment, to focus on the potential areas on the basis of ensuring the synchronism and link development between districts.
The district needed to expeditiously complete the project "Cropping, crop conversion and crop structure in eastern districts of Tien Giang province up to 2025", to restructure production to adapt to climate change.

He also said that the local should re-evaluate the effectiveness of citronella and soursop in recent years. In the area of aquaculture should have a calculation of the scale, planning development of breeding areas associated with biology safety and adaptation to climate change.

Besides, the district should take the initiative in offering solutions to store fresh water for production; to implement the prevention of drought and salinity; to build irrigation works in communes in order to supply enough water for production and daily life of people; to develop and protect coastal mangroves in order to ensure ecological environment and protect sea dykes, etc...

* Tan Phuoc District:

The Tan Phuoc district Party Committee also proposed many issues: To conclude a plan for the My Phuoc Industrial complex; to approve early the concentrated livestock project 200 hectares in Thanh Hoa commune; to upgrade the provincial road 867; to propose the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to invest in the construction of prevention and combat against drought and salinity.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee Vo Van Binh said that the development of Tan Phuoc district is still very big. The Tan Phuoc district Party Committee, the Tan Phuoc District People's Committee should continue to promote their role in the work to implement the key tasks to make Tan Phuoc district more and more developed.
