Tien Giang hosts Hung Kings death anniversary ceremony

ABO - On April 24, at the Tien Giang Museum, the Tien Giang Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism solemnly held Hung Kings death anniversary ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were Member of Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee, Chairman of People's Council Nguyen Van Danh; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vo Van Binh;  Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong; former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Huynh Van Niem with leaders of departments, branches and unions of the province, districts, towns, cities, and large numbers of people, students.

The death anniversary ceremony was held with traditional rituals with flowers, gifts, lion dance, etc ... expressing the gratitude of the present generation to the Hung Kings, according to Uncle Ho's teachings.

After listening a review the process of building and preserving national heroic nation, provincial leaders as well as leaders of departments, branches, unions of the province and districts, towns, cities and people offered incense to commemorate Hung Kings, the founders of the nation.

The worshipping rituals of the Hung Kings is an annual event organized by the Tien Giang Department of Culture and Information at the provincial Museum. This is a meaningful activity to educate the ethnic traditions of all classes of people, especially the younger generation.
