And Deputy Chairman of the PPC Le Van Nghia suggested localities have to ensure the safe use of electricity for the area of dragon fruit. Before the actual area of dragon fruit growing rapidly, localities need to plan the planting area to avoid small production leading to difficulties in consumption as well as transportation.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong stressed that the state budget revenue should be recalculated to reach the plan. The PPC will have a working session with the provincial Tax Department on this issue.

For new rural construction, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development should urgently submit to the list of communes striving to meet new rural standard in 2020, not to be passive in the process of implementation.

In addition, he suggested that the Department of Health needs to review the coverage rate of health insurance in new rural communes and have solutions to maintain the proportion of people participating in health insurance.

On traffic safety, Chairman of the PPC requested to handle traffic violation corridors in places such as schools, markets and bridges, etc…

In addition, he also requested departments to implement the work early to prepare for the Tien Giang Investment Promotion conference, etc…
