ABO – The Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) has just held the conference on June 19 to review the work of people reception, settlement of complaints and denunciations in the first six months of 2018.

In the first six months of 2018, the state administrative organs in the province received 1,928 turns of citizens, increased 66 turns over the same period with 1,758 cases.
The total number of letters of complaint, denunciation, petition and reflection received was 835 applications, an increase of 74 records over the same period. After classifying, there were 44 complaints and 10 denunciations under their jurisdiction. The remaining cases were duplicate and anonymous with unknown contents and addresses of complainants and denouncers.
The valid applications were solved by the administrative agencies as 38, accounted for 65.52%, decreased 5.9% over the same period. 12 complaints were answered, reached 75%, increased 17.1% over the same period.

The Chairman of the PPC received 19 turns including 4 masses, organizing dialogues to settle complaints 3 cases; concluding the settlement of 62 cases, issuing 26 official documents replied to citizens.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong suggested that the Tien Giang provincial Inspector continue to inspect the work of receiving citizens, to ensure the reception of citizens according to the the Law on citizen reception.
Leaders of various levels and branches should to review and build up the contingent of cadres and civil servants in charge of the reception of citizens, capable of well performing the role of advising on the reception of people; to upgrade and invest in the construction of the reception citizens headquarters; to effectively implement the reception of citizens in the coming time.
