In the period of national construction and defense, the Party and government of Tien Giang organized many patriotic emulation movements responded fully by officials, civil servants, laborers and people to meet and exceed the targets of socio-economic development, contributing to successfully implementing the Party's guideline and renewal policy.

In order to continue to bring into play the achievements, successfully complete the political tasks set out, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh proposed that: In the coming time, the province will take all necessary measures, such as enhancing leadership roles of departments, state agencies and units, promoting information dissemination on President Ho Chi Minh's thought on patriotic emulation, renovating contents and forms of emulation movements and developing human resources to implement well emulation movements in the coming time.

He called on all people and soldiers to continue following late President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts on patriotic emulation, add the emulation work in their daily activities, and effectively carry out the Party’s policies and the State’s laws related to emulation and reward work.

Emulation movement should be practical and bring about certain benefits for the nation, society and people, and inspire the sense of responsibility and self-consciousness of the entire people in order to create a new motivation for the nation building and safeguarding cause, he stressed.
