ABO - On June 5, the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) held a working session with the supervision mission of the Provincial People's Council on implementation of state management in the field of family and children from 2015 to present.

According to reports of the PPC, over the past years, the state management of family and children was paid attention and constantly guided by of the Provincial People's Committee.

Departments, unions, the Steering Committee for Family, Children Affair at all levels closely follow the programs and plans of the central and provincial levels to carry out activities on family and children. Accordingly, many programs and actions for this work have been organized in various forms and achieved certain results, etc…

However, the work of family and children has met difficult to make this activity limited. At the working session, members of the supervising delegation together with leaders of provincial departments and unions analyzed and proposed solutions to improve the state management of family and children in the coming time, etc…

Speaking at the meeting, Deoty Chairman of the PPC Tran Thanh Duc said that solving the problem of human resources and funding will remove difficulties for activities in the field of family and children of the level basis.

The PPC will direct the Department of Finance to consider and increase the level of support to the grassroots level to ensure more regular funding for family and children's activities.

As for staff working at the grassroots level and family level, due to the current lack of staffing capacity, the PPC will consider balancing funding to increase the level of support for nonparticipating officers current working of family and children at grassroots level.

At the same time, the PPC will strengthen the direction of the coordination between the various departments, sectors and mass organizations in organizing action programs related to the work of families and children to better perform this task in the next time, etc…
