Presidential Office reviews performance in first half of 2018

ABO/NDO - The Presidential Office held a meeting on July 13 to review its performance over the first six months of 2018 in the presence of President Tran Dai Quang and Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh.

During the first half of the year, the Office played a consultative role in domestic and external activities of the President and the Vice President, as well as in the law-making and judicial reform programmes.

The Office also offered advice to the President on the signing, approval and amendment of a number of important documents.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh asked the Office to continue its advisory role to help the President and the Vice President to implement their duties as enshrined in the constitution.

The Office was also tasked with verifying dossiers on emulation and commendation as well as the nation’s major commemorative events.
