Vice President joins gathering of former female soldiers
ABO/NDO - Vice President, Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, attended a gathering of former female soldiers in the central southern region, held in Ben Tre southern province on August 5.

Delegates reviewed the history of the resistance against the US with the participation of female soldiers in the central southern region, through which educating the younger generations on the revolutionary traditions and virtues of Vietnamese women.
Female soldiers in the central southern region set a shining example of loyalty to the fatherland, as well as bravery and determination to protect the Party and the revolution, even in the most dangerous circumstances.
Addressing the ceremony, the Vice President expressed her gratitude to the former female soldiers of the central southern region for their great contributions to the nation both in wartime and peacetime.
She informed the former female soldiers that the President has decided to present them with the title 'Heroes of the People's Armed Forces'.
On the occasion, Vice President Thinh granted VND30 million to the Women Union of the central southern region and expressed her wish that the former female soldiers would continue being examples for younger people to follow.
