Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong suggested sectors to concentrate on ensuring security and order and basic construction, etc… The province should contact ministries and central agencies to quickly resolve difficulties and problems of the Cai Be fruit park project and Hoa Khanh fruit market.

Besides, the Chairman of the PPC also requested the Tien Giang province Department of Planning and Investment to build up the progress, closely follow each project after the investment promotion conference.

Relevant departments should create favorable conditions for investors to speed up the implementation of projects. By 2010, 90% of the projects will be implemented, particularly to pay attention the implementation of the Scheme 02.

At the meeting, the leaders of departments and sectors reported on the implementation of key tasks in the coming time such as budget collection, a list of submissions to the Provincial People's Council at the end of the year, coping with floods, the central square exploitation, etc ...

According to the Department of Planning and Investment, the socio-economic situation of the province in the first eight months of 2018 continued to achieve positive results over the same period. Specifically, industrial production index increased by 12.3%; state budget revenues increased by 12%; the number of projects attracted increased by 75%; the number of newly established enterprises increased by 11.9%, up 87% in terms of registered capital.
