ABO - On October 12, the Executive Committee of the 10th Tien Giang provincial Party Committee held an online conference to announce the results of the 8th plenum of the 12th Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee from October 2 to 6 in Ha Noi.

Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh presented the results of the 8th plenum of the 12th CPV Central Committee with the following main contents such as: the socio-economic and finance-state budget situation in 2018, and the plans for socio-economic development and finance-state budget in 2019; the ten-year implementation of the resolution adopted at the fourth plenum of the 10th PCC on the Vietnam Marine Strategy up to 2020; regulations on the responsibility for setting example of Party members and officials, especially Politburo members, members of the PCC’s Secretariat and the PCC; the establishment of subcommittees to prepare for the 13th National Party Congress; and several issues on personnel work and a number of other important issues.Delegates attending the conference.

Regarding the socio-economic development plan, it is encouraged that our country will continue to have positive and comprehensive changes in the fields. It is forecasted that it will be able to complete all 12 targets the plan by the end of 2018 including 8 targets exceeded.

The Party Central Committee introduced General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong as a candidate for the post of State President in accordance with the Constitution and the current law.
