On the first working day, delegates listened to the summary of the draft political report and the review report of the Executive Board of the Tien Giang province Farmer's Association, 2015-2018 term as well as the presentation on promotion the role, functions and tasks of the association, promoting the mastery of the peasant members, contributing to building a clean and strong Party and State; discussing the role of farmers in building new rural, urban civilization, etc…

Speaking at the congress, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh praised and congratulated the achievements and contributions of the farmers' organizations in the past time.
