Specifically, for economic target group, Tien Giang province will strive and determine to achieve the speed economic growth from 7 to 7.5%; GRDP average income from VND 51.8 million to VND 52 million/person/year; the total export turnover reaches USD 3 billion; the total investment capital for development of the whole society reached from VND 34,500 to 34,700 billion; the total state budget revenue reaches VND 9,305 billion, the total local budget expenditure reaches VND 11,383 billion; 750 to 800 new enterprises to be established.

For social target group, in 2019, Tien Giang province will create jobs for 20,000 laborers, including 150 laborers working abroad; reducing the unemployment rate in urban areas below 3%; raising the rate of trained workers to 49%; reducing the rate of poor households under 3.4%; building 23 communes to meet the new rural standards; the percentage of population participating in health insurance reaches 85.8%; 99% of urban households use clean water, etc ...
