Leaders of Tien Giang province extend Christmas greetings to the local followers

ABO – Chairman of the Tien Giang province People's Committee Le Van Huong and the delegation of the Committee for Public Relation of the Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, etc… paid a courtesy visit to several Catholic establishments in the province on December 21, to express his wishes for a merry Christmas season to the local followers.

He visited and presented gifts to the Pastoral Center of My Tho diocese, the Provincial Committee for Catholic Solidarity, the Daughters of St. Paul and the Representatives Board of the Provincial Protestant Church on the occasion of Christmas celebrations 2018.

The official wished the Catholic and Protestant priests and followers a warm and merry Christmas, and hoped that the Bishop and dignitaries would contribute further to national development.

Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Huong highly valued the contributions of local Catholics in realising the socio-economic development goals.

He expected priests and Catholics to continue adhering to the great national unity bloc towards the common goal of bringing the country to a higher level of development.

The bishop of My Tho diocese Nguyen Van Kham and priest Pham Thanh Minh, Chairman of the provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee thanked the leaders of the province and expressed his wish to be provided with favourable conditions in conducting their religious activities so that Catholic compatriots would be able to contribute further to national construction.
