The seventh meeting session of the 9th Tien Giang provincial People's Council closes

ABO - After four days of working with urgency, democracy and responsible spirit, the seventh session of the 9th Tien Giang provincial People's Council closed on December 7.

At this meeting session, the delegates of the Provincial People's Council voted and unanimously passed 29 special resolutions including the unified resolution of the National Assembly delegation's office, the People's Council’s office and the People's Committee’s office according to Resolution No. 580/2018 /UBTVQH14 of the National Assembly Standing Committee newly issued on October 4, 2018 on the pilot consolidation of the three offices mentioned above, etc ... This is an important legal basis for all levels and branches as well as organizations to implement.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council appreciated the spirit of serious work, the responsibility of the delegates in the days. Most of the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the heads of departments and agencies raised the sense of responsibility, clarifying the issues mentioned by delegates and voters, setting up the best solutions and the most specific measures to address the requirements set by the province; many issues interested by voters were analyzed clearly.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council also dismissed and elected additional members of the Provincial People's Committee, contributing additional staff important and necessary for the provincial government. At the same time, the vote of confidence was also taken for the titles elected by the Provincial People's Council.

He also emphasized that: In order to successfully implement the objectives and tasks of socio-economic development in 2019 and subsequent years, immediately after this meeting, the Provincial People's Committee and departments, People's Committees of districts, towns and city should build plan and implement the resolutions of the Provincial People's Councils to ensure the feasibility and serious fulfillment of promises before the voters.

He asked delegates' groups and representatives of the Provincial People's Council to report to voters on the results of the seventh meeting session of the Provincial People's Council; to closely coordinate with the Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations in intensifying the work of supervision in order to well organize the implementation of the resolutions and the observance of law and effective implementation resolutions passed by the session, etc…
