Young people in Tien Giang province join army
ABO - On February 2, more than one thousand of young people in Tien Giang province joined the army for their military service.
A ceremony to see off the newly-recruited soldiers in Go Cong Dong district on February 20 was attended by Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Van Danh.
Deputy Standing Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly deputies delegation of Tien Giang province attended the ceremony to see off the newly-recruited soldiers in Cai Be district.
Deputy Chairman of Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Van Nghia attended the ceremony to see off the newly-recruited soldiers in Go Cong Tay district.

This year, the Military Service Council of districts, cities and towns recruited 1,200 qualified youths to join the army for military service, in which the percentage of young volunteers reached 100%. In addition, the province assigned 175 young people to serve in the People's Police force.
Before that, from February 15-18, districts, towns and cities organized military camps with many exciting activities such as: exchange, meeting, giving encouragement to new recruits to prepare for enlistment, etc…
