Holding solemnly the 60th anniversary of Border Guard Force's Traditional Day

ABO - On February 28, the Tien Giang province solemnly held a conference to to mark the 60th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Border Guard, and the 30th anniversary of the Whole-People's Border Day.

This event saw an attendance of Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Danh; Standing Secretary of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee Vo Van Binh; Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee Le Van Huong, etc… with the former leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the leadership of the Border Guard Command of the provinces through periods, etc…

At the ceremony, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People’s Committee Le Van Huong delivered a speech, emphasizing: Over 60 years, under the leadership of the Party, the the Border Guard Force have always been trained and challenged in the reality of revolutionary struggle and constantly developing, maturing in every way.

In building the country, the cadres and soldiers of the Border Guard Force  in general and the Tien Giang Border Guard force in particular continued to constantly strive, successfully completing the task of managing and firmly protecting the sovereignty and sovereignty of national borders, sea border area of the province.

Colonel Nguyen Tien Dung, Commander of the Tien Giang Border Guard force, stated that he promised to continue promoting the glorious tradition of the forces, constantly striving to truly be a good political army, always absolutely loyal, worthy of being a specialized force on the front of the national border security and sovereignty protection, etc...

On this occasion, the Border Guard Command awarded 13 campaign medals for the sovereignty of national border security for many contributions to the construction of the Border Guard Force and the entire people's border.
