Local voters asked the NA to enhance their supervision role to accelerate the implementation of the Trung Luong – My Thuan highway to contribute to socio-economic development of the Mekong Delta region.
They also suggested that the NA and Government should focus resources on upgrading transport infrastructure and key routes connecting provinces in the Mekong Delta region.
Local voters also raised their concerns on other pressing issues including salaries for teachers, environmental pollution, strengthened management over BOT (build-operate-transfer) projects, and the implementation of the law on preventing and combating the harmful effects of alcohol and beer, among others.
