Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong meets voters of Cho Gao district

ABO - On August 13, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong met 150 voters of Cho Gao town, Xuan Dong and Hoa Dinh communes.

Voters reflected and proposed a number of people's issues such as: The Vam Ky Hon dyke system has been eroded, affecting people's lives so it is necessary to reinforce; the district road 23 is seriously degraded, causing difficulties in the circulation of people; the schedule of discharging Rach Cho water inlet sluice gates is not reasonable, leading to the situation of stagnant water and pollution; the health insurance payment procedures of the people still have many shortcomings, etc ...

Chairman of the the PPC Le Van Huong highly appreciated voters' recommendations and reflections. At the same time, he also requested a number of related branches and local authorities to promptly solve some problems. Specifically, he assigned Chairman of the Cho Gao district People's Committee to direct the functional branch to try to strengthen and complete the Vam Ky Hon dyke system in August; to balance the allocation of budget capital to strengthen the district road 23 to ensure traffic safety for people.

He also assigned the PPC to issue a text request to the Tien Giang Irrigation Construction Exploiting One-member Co., Ltd. to coordinate with Cho Gao district People's Committee to organize a meeting of people in Cho canal area to unify the scientific operation process of the Rach Cho water inlet sluice to ensure told to close and discharge water properly.

The Tien Giang Department of Health cooperates with the Cho Gao district Health Center to check and issue a text response to the inadequacies in payment of health insurance procedures reflected by people; at the same time, to immediately survey the situation of polluted water in O1 area in Cho Gao town and assess the risk of dengue outbreak to take timely measures.

In addition, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong further informed about the situation of prevention and control of African swine cholera, dengue epidemic in the province and gave a brief introduction on the progress of Trung Luong expressway project.
