Tan Lap 2 commune of Tan Phuoc district recognized as new rural area

ABO - On Agust 26, the Tien Giang provincial Standing Steering Committee for National Targeted Program proclaimed Tan Lap 2 commune of Tan Phuoc district as new rural commune.

According to the report, after many years of implementing the National Target Program to build new rural areas, the socio-economy of Tan Lap 2 commune has many positive changes; the per capita income reaches over 46.2 million VND/year; the poverty rate reduces to 3.17%; the rate of workers in the age group gets regular jobs over 90%; infrastructure, especially the invested road system is relatively complete; the irrigation system ensures to serve agricultural production of people in the area.
In addition, the cultural and spiritual life of the people of Tan Lap 2 commune has also been raised, the cultural facilities, physical training and sports are invested and upgraded.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Dung praised and congratulated the results that Tan Lap commune 2 Party Committee, authorities and people achieved in recent years.

He proposed that leaders and people of Tan Lap 2 commune continue to lead and have specific plans and solutions to improve and continue to raise the quality of the achieved criteria. The administration of Tan Phuoc district, Tan Lap 2 commune needs to continue and strengthen the reception of citizens, meeting people, listening to people's opinions to further improve the quality and efficiency of executive and enforcement work policy; paying attention to organize, guide and support people to implement the restructuring of plants and animals in line with the restructuring of the Agriculture sector to 2020, etc…

At the ceremony, the Provincial People's Committee awarded an emulation flag and a welfare project worth 1 billion VND to commune and certificate of merits to many individuals and collectives for their contributions to the commune's construction program.
