ABO - On August 21, the Standing Committee of the Tien Giang provincial People's Council, led by Vice Chairwoman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Sang, supervised the building new countryside program at the Tien Giang Department Agriculture and Rural Development.

Deputy Director of Tien Giang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Trinh Cong Minh reported the results of consultations to the Provincial Steering Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to organize and implement the National Target Program on building new countryside program of the province in recent years; evaluating some results, shortcomings and limitations in the process of implementing the program.

Next, the supervisory delegation and representatives of relevant departments and agencies exchanged some clarifications and problems in implementing the National Target Program on building new countryside in the province over time.

Concluding the working session, comrade Nguyen Thi Sang emphasized: The building new countryside program is the task without ending. She suggested that relevant departments, agencies and unions focus on reviewing and checking the progress of implementing the criteria, especially for the communes that owe criteria; in which, upholding the role of committees, local government; strengthening propaganda both in width and depth, promoting the role of the people in building new countryside.
