According to the report, in the first 8 months, the situation of agricultural production continued to develop stably; industrial production value increased by 11.3%; total retail sales of consumer goods and services increased by 8.9%; there were 412 newly established enterprises; attracted investment in 14 projects with a total newly registered investment capital of over 10,500 billion VND; the state budget revenue reached 7,488 billion VND, etc...

On the afternoon of the same day, the PPC implemented cadre to assign comrade Nguyen Dinh Thong, Deputy Director of Tien Giang Department of Planning and Investment to Acting Director of Tien Giang Department of Planning and Investment.

At the same time, the PPC appointed comrade Dang Van Tuan, Head of Trade Management Department under the Tien Giang Department of Industry and Trade to hold the position of Deputy Director of Department of Industry and Trade.

The PPC also appointed comrade Nguyen Hong Thuy, Deputy Director of Tien Giang Department of Science and Technology to Tien Giang University to accept the work from September 1, 2019.
