Tien Giang province posthumously bestows "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" title

ABO – On August 29, at the Provincial Convention Center, the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee, People's Council, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a ceremony posthumously conferred the title Mothers Vietnam heroic mother in 2019, awarding the Independence Medal to the martyrs' family.

Tien Giang province has 22 mothers who have been posthumously awarded the honor of State "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" title by the President. At the same time, there are 136 families to be awarded the Independence Medal by the President according to Decisions 946, 947, 948 and 949.

After two wars of resistance against the French, against the United States to save the country and to perform international obligations, the elite class of Tien Giang province has enthusiastically set out to fight, ready sacrificing blood for national independence, liberating the South, unifying the country, defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
