ABO – On October 9, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong checked the situation of coastal erosion in Con Cong and Con Ngang areas (Phu Tan commune, Tan Phu Dong district).

At Con Cong area, the province has implemented landslide settlement with a total investment of nearly 36 billion VND from central capital.

The project has a length of 1.6 km, up to now, the completed and disbursed volume is over 16 billion VND.
According to the construction unit, it is expected that basically, on November 30, the construction of the dyke reduction wave will be basically completed and committed to complete on schedule.

Particularly in Con Ngang area, in recent years, the sea waves have destroyed many protective forests, encroaching on the working area of the Con Ngang Border Control Team.

At the survey, Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong praised the consulting unit for the construction solution of landslide treatment in Con Cong. At the same time, he praised the efforts of the construction unit because this was a difficult project.

He also requested the construction unit to try to accelerate the work progress.

As for dealing with landslides in Con Ngang, he agreed to invest with capital construction fund of the province in 2020, etc…
