Upcoming NA's eighth session to consider many draft laws
ABO/NDO – The eighth session of the National Assembly (NA) will consider many draft laws and resolutions during its sitting for 27 days before wrapping up on November 27, said Nguyen Hanh Phuc, Chairman of the NA Office, on October 17 during the NA Standing Committee’s 38th meeting.

Phuc said that the documents to be discussed at the session include the draft Law on amendments and supplementations to Article 3 of the Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Supporting Tools, and a draft resolution on piloting the removal of People’s Councils in wards of Hanoi’s districts and towns.
The draft revised Law on Investment and revised Business Law will be debated, along with a feasibility report on the Long Thanh International Airport project in the first phase, and personnel matters of the NA and Government, he said.
Legislators will also discuss and decide investment policy for Ka Pet reservoir in Binh Thuan province and the additional allocation of State budget in 2019 to Tra Vinh province.
Also on October 17, the committee members gave their ideas on the draft law on amendments and supplementations to Article 3 of the Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Supporting Tools, and the switching of using purposes of forest land in the Ka Pet reservoir project site.
