Delegates perform a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the first trial location in the South.

At the ceremony, the delegates reviewed the historical tradition of the People's Revolutionary Court of My Tho province and the trial hearings in the first days of establishment.

On November 29, 1940, the People's Revolutionary Court of My Tho province opened the first trial for French colonial lackeys. During the time of existence, the People's Revolutionary Court of My Tho province only executed a fiend, warning some others; the rest were mostly educated, lenient, etc...

Comrade Le Hong Quang said that this is a historic work of great significance, a symbol of the revolutionary spirit of the country's judiciary, contributing to building the revolutionary tradition of the People's Court system.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Huong emphasized: Tien Giang province will continue to preserve and embellish the epitaph and consider it one of the important works in the national cultural relic complex of the province.

The memorial stele marked the first trial location in the South was implemented after three months. This is a practical work to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the traditional people's court (September 13, 1945 - September 13, 2020).
