The government leader also pointed out some limitations in its inspection activities, urging the inspectors to be transparent, put the common interests first and be righteous, while following the leadership and direction of the Government and the PM, as well as listening to the people's recommendations to facilitate their work.
Defining some of its specific tasks in the near future, the PM suggested the agency perfect its institutions, strengthen inspection management, and step up supervision and appraisal.
Settling complaints and denunciations must be carried out in a timely and lawful manner, without delay, while doing the work of reconciliation well and hosting regular dialogues with the people.
PM Chinh noted the regular review and assessment of lessons learned from handling major cases to contribute to promoting the prevention of corruption and negativity, especially in sensitive areas such as land and finance, mineral resources and public investment.
He also emphasised the strengthening of coordination in the inspection and supreme supervision of the National Assembly, between inspectors and auditors, and between Government agencies and local inspectors, to avoid overlapping.
Another important task emphasised was promoting Party building work for a clean and strong leadership agency, while building a streamlined, effective inspection apparatus with high quality staff.
