On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Health, Minister Long expressed his gratitude to the governments of the three countries for their interest in supporting the work of people's health care in Vietnam in general and the COVID-19 prevention and control in particular, including support vaccines for Vietnam through the COVAX Facility which is currently the largest source of access to COVID-19 vaccines in Vietnam.
The health minister also emphasised that one of Vietnam’s priorities in COVID-19 prevention and control is to achieve early and broad access to the supply of COVID-19 vaccine. Though the Ministry of Health has been making efforts to access vaccine sources, the Minister expressed his hope that Australia, France and Switzerland will continue to pay attention to help Vietnam access more to vaccine sources.
The Ambassadors of Australia, France and Switzerland in Vietnam all highly appreciated the results Vietnam has achieved in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic and emphasised that they will continue to cooperate with Vietnam in the field.
