Thai Nguyen Newspaper marks 60th founding anniversary
ABO/NDO - On August 23, Thai Nguyen Newspaper marked the 60th anniversary of its establishment at a ceremony attended by Nhan Dan’s Editor-in-chief Le Quoc Minh and Thai Nguyen Party Secretary Nguyen Thanh Hai.
The newspaper started with four reporters to communicate the Party and State’s guidelines and policies, as well as the local Party organisation’s policies on four pages measuring 27x39cm.
Today Thai Nguyen Newspaper publishes seven issues a week, with its online edition updated around the clock, becoming a trusted information source for the Party organisations and governments at all levels throughout the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nhan Dan’s Editor-in-chief Le Quoc Minh affirmed the role of the Thai Nguyen Newspaper in the province’s development and in creating an environment for reporters and editors to sharpen their professional skills.
Minh, also Deputy Head of the Central Commission for Communication and Education and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, asked the newspaper to further enhance its quality and apply new journalism tools to reach a wider audience.
For his part, Thai Nguyen Party Secretary Nguyen Thanh Hai recognised the newspaper’s accurate and timely coverage of the Party and State’s policies, as well as the socio-economic development in Thai Nguyen Province.
He asked the newspaper to promptly discover and promote examples of good people and good deeds, while also fighting against wrong views and negative behaviours.
On this occasion, the Thai Nguyen Newspaper was awarded a certificate of merit by the Central Commission for Communication and Education.
