Armed Forces Dao Dinh Bang inaugurated

ABO/NDO-  A memorial house dedicated to Colonel, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Dao Dinh Bang, was officially inaugurated in Yen Bai, on October 1.

Colonel, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Dao Dinh Bang, was born on August 14, 1924, in Minh Quan commune, Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province.

During the period of the resistance war against the US, Colonel Dao Dinh Bang made several outstanding feats, contributing to the construction of border security lines, ensuring security and order in strategic areas, and implementing the foreign policy of the Party and State.

For his outstanding achievements, Colonel Dao Dinh Bang was awarded the Independence Medal, third class, by the Party and State; Military Merit Medal, second class; the French Resistance War Order, third class; US Resistance War Order, first class.

The memorial house dedicated to Colonel, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Dao Dinh Bang, was built in Lien Hiep village, Minh Quan commune, Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen The Phuoc affirmed that, during his life of operation and combat, Colonel, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Dao Dinh Bang, former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, has attached and devoted his whole life to working for the police sector.

The house was identified as a "red address", carrying historical and cultural significance, contributing to the education of patriotic traditions for officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security force, as well as officials and people inside and outside Yen Bai Province.
