Art programme marking President Ho Chi Minh's birthday to take place at Ba Dinh Square
ABO/NDO- A special art programme entitled “He is President Ho Chi Minh” is scheduled to take place at Ba Dinh Square in Ha Noi on the evening of May 18, as part of activities marking the 135th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 –2025).
The programme is part of a series of cultural and artistic activities aimed at extensively promoting and educating the public on the profound and historic contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnamese revolutionary cause.
Through artistic performances and moving stories, the programme vividly portrays the image of the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, national liberation hero, and eminent cultural figure. It also serves to foster patriotism, revolutionary ideals, and the teachings, morality, and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh among party members, civil servants, and people from all walks of life, especially the younger generation.

The programme will begin at Ba Dinh Square at 8:10 PM on May 18 and will be broadcast live on VTV1 (Viet Nam Television), with simultaneous broadcasts on other national and local TV channels, as well as digital media platforms.
The special programme will be presented in three parts themed “Nguyen Sinh Cung – Nguyen Tat Thanh”, “Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh”, and “Viet Nam! The Era of Rising”.
The performances are carefully crafted, blending traditional and contemporary elements through music, dance, theatrical re-enactments, and advanced 3D mapping technology to highlight key themes.
The programme will feature renowned artists such as Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Viet Danh, Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu, Linh Chi, Ha Quynh Nhu, Thanh Phong, Hoang Hong Ngoc, the Be Singer group, Huyen Trang, Mai Chi, and An Thu An, as well as artists from the Viet Nam National Drama Theatre and the Viet Nam National Music, Song and Dance Theatre.
