Country to support all children enjoying full-moon festival

The Ministry of Labour, War-Invalids and Social Affairs has asked centrally governed provincial and city People’s Committees to direct authorities and agencies in allocating and mobilising capital to support all children in having a joyful, safe and healthy full-moon festival.

They were also requested to educate children about maintaining the nation’s cultural identity, by participating in traditional cultural activities, as well as traditional games, encouraging the use of domestically produced toys and not playing with low quality, dangerous and hazardous imported toys.

Localities were also asked to organise economical full-moon festival celebrations to help attract the poor and extremely disadvantaged children; give presents to poor children and those in remote and disadvantaged regions.

The ministry also requested authorised agencies to increase inspection over food safety while preventing the trade of violent cultural products and games.
