The carrier is actively preparing the safety conditions required for these flights. So far, requests have been made to 10 nations for special flight plan permissions and supporting ground staff, if necessary. The best pilots, cabin crews and technical staff are ready to fly.
Vietnam Airlines also plans to send a delegation to Egypt to liaise with the Vietnamese Embassy, the Vietnam’s Ministry of Labor, War-Invalids and Social Affairs, and relevant agencies for further cooperation.
As a result, the flight schedule for the carrier between August 9-12 will be adjusted. As many as 8 flights on the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh city route will be cancelled. Updates on all flights can be found through the company’s website www.vietnamairlines.com, and mass media.
Each flight has 2 pilot crews, 12 male attendants and 3 technical officers.
