Deputy PM Phuc extends New Year greetings to security officers

Deputy Prime Minister paid a Tet visit to officers of the General Department of Security under the Ministry of Public Security on February 13.

He applauded the force for their efforts to ensure social security and urged the officers to be more proactive in maintaining public order for national development.

The Deputy PM stressed that the security force must guarantee the success of the upcoming Party congress in 2016.

The same day, Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang paid a visit to residents of Ninh Binh province and attended a ceremony to inaugurate two cultural houses in Kim Trung and Kim Hai communes, the most impoverished areas of Kim Son districts.

The minister praised local residents who have overcome difficulties to promote economic development and called on local authorities to continue to support poor households so that they can escape poverty soon.
