Events mark President Ho Chi Minh's birthday nationwide
A series of events have been held across the country to celebrate the 125th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.

Ho Chi Minh Museum, in Hanoi has organised an exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh’s personal life, the struggles and victories of the Vietnamese people and world historical events that influenced the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh and the national revolution.
The Ho Chi Minh Museum was built in 1985 and inaugurated on May 19, 1990 on the occasion of the 100th birthday of President Ho. Over the past 25 years, the museum has welcomed nearly 30 million domestic and international visitors.
In Thai Nguyen province, 125 outstanding children were presented with the title of 'Uncle Ho's Good Grandchild' for their achievements in Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer emulation movements, on May 9.
Thai Nguyen province has also prepared a number of programmes, such as an incense offering ceremony at the commemorative house of President Ho Chi Minh in Dinh Hoa district; an art programme honouring President Ho Chi Minh; and some exhibitions on the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh.
Earlier, the Vietnamese Embassy in India co-ordinated with the India-Vietnam Solidarity Committee (IVSC) in West Bengal to host a workshop on President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.
