Organizing the course training in preventing disaster

On Agust 20, the Centre for Training and media about the islands, sea in collaboration with Tien Giang Department of Natural Resources and Environment held the course training to disseminate knowledges and skills on disaster prevention and troubleshooting enviroment of islands, sea. 

 

This training course aimed at equipment knowledges about climate change and adaptation measures, to minimize the effects of climate change to coastal areas; knowledges to prevent and respond to natural disasters from the sea; many solutions to control, correct and mitigate damage from marine environmental incidents with some important technical issues in preventing and responding to oil spills.

This is one of activities within the framework of the advocacy training to organize volunteer force and forms of community self-gorverning participation in disaster prevention and response to environmental incidents, under the project in promoting propaganda management, protection and sustainable development of the sea and islands of Vietnam.

 

The training course had attended by students, youth, volunteer, joining forces to prevent natural disasters, environmental incidents, including 4 provinces such as Tien Giang, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu and Ca Mau province. This course took place from Agust 20 to 21, 2015.
