Chairman of the PPC Le Van Huong inspects food safety and hygiene

Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Van Huong, led the food safety and hygien inspection delegation of the Deparment of Health, has just inspected unexpectedly the food safety and hygiene at My Tho market and some stores traded in beef.

The delegation checked food safety at My Tho Market

At My Tho market, the delegation examined the basis of sanitary condition, raw material, label of some stores trading some products such as dried fish, dried shrimp, sour vegetable, pork. The delegation checked samples of pork which give result on the spot and they did not detected any use of substance causing unhygienic and unsafe food.

The delegation also took samples of some products such as dried fish, dried shrimp, sour vegetable, pork to move to control experiment. The delegation discovered and reminded some stores traded in dried fishes which has not implemented fully regulations on food safety.

After that, the delegation checked three stores traded in beef in Ap Bac street and they find no violations of food hygiene and safety. However, the delegation also took samples of beef to move to control experiment.
