In only April, the statistics from enterprises showed that the total number of workers sent abroad was 10,480, of which 3,307 were women.
Chinese Taipei continued to be the largest market for Vietnamese workers in April (4,991 workers).
It was followed by Japan (3,349 workers), the Republic of Korea (1,510 workers), Saudi Arabia (310 workers), Malaysia (122 workers), and Macao (China) (24 workers).
The MOLISA said it would continue activities to open up new labour export markets such as Australia and Thailand.
