82 mothers to bestow posthmuosly "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" title

The Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) has just met to implement the plan for holding the ceremony to bestow posthmuosly "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" title. Deputy Chairman of the PPC Tran Thanh Duc chaired this meeting.

According to an expected plan, in this phase, the province has 82 mothers are posthumously awarded "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" title by the President (in Decision No. 1838 /QD-CTN dated Agust 22, 2016).

The PPC plans to organize ceremony to bestow posthumously the title on the morning of November 23, 2016 on the occasion of celebrating 76 years of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia (November 23, 1940 - November 23, 2016) and celebrating 72th anniversary of the Founding of Vietnamese People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2016) at Ap Bac Hall of the provincial Convention Center.

The ceremony has main contents such as: Showing documentary film to honor Vietnam Heroic Mothers, proclaiming decision of the President, awarding the recognition to mother’s relatives. 

 

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the PPC Tran Thanh Duc requested that locals promtly implemented the payment policy for mothers as well as relatives of the Vietnam Heroic Mothers posthumously bestowed, organizing to see off and pick up mother’s relatives for attending the ceremony.
