Workshop on promoting scientific technology transfer

On November 2, Tien Giang Department of Science and Technology held a worshop on promoting scientific technology transfer and application of high technology in local agriculture development.

At the workshop

Delegates learnt about the effectiveness of the agricultural production model applied high-tech being deployed in the province such as: Applying the drip irrigation technology combined with the greenhouse in the process of cultivation of leaf vegetables, fruit vegetables, producing food mushroom and medicinal mushrooms, the effectiveness of using micro-organic fertilizer in agriculture, etc ...

This workshop aimed at promoting scientific technology transfer, applying high-tech in agriculture in order to raise farmer’s income as well as to contribute practically on new rural development.

 

Following this worshop, Tien Giang Department of Science and Technology will strengthen relationship and cooperation with the local to organize works promoting scientific technology transfer, guiding the process of applying high-tech applications in agricultural production, especially in the field of biotechnology.
