An arts programme entitled, ‘A Song of Peace’, will take place at Ly Thai To Flower Garden in Hoan Kiem district at 8 pm on April 29, featuring dances and revolutionary songs praising the land and people of Vietnam and the capital city of Hanoi.

Meanwhile, Hanoi-based art troupes are scheduled to deliver 30 shows on April 30 and May 1 in 30 districts of the capital city.

The troupes come from the Hanoi Cai Luong (Reformed Theatre), the Hanoi Cheo (traditional opera) Theatre, Thang Long Song and Dance Theatre, the Vietnam Union of UNESCO Associations, and the Hanoi city Cultural Centre.

Trinh Thuy Mui, director of the Hanoi Cheo Theatre, said that the artists practised hard and now they are ready to offer a repertoire to enthral the audience.

A photo exhibition at the Hoa Lo Prison historical site and mobile free screenings will also be held on the occasion.
