My Hoi is recognized as the new rural commune

On January 17, My Hoi commune has just been proclaimed the new rural commune by Cai Be district People’s Committee and the Provincial Standing Steering Committee for National Targeted Program to build new rural areas.

After the implementation of the National targeted program for rural development, My Hoi commune achieved 19/19 criteria in accordance with the National standard criteria of rural development indicators.

Accordingly, the life of people has been improved remarkably, the rate of poor households has been reduced to 2.88%; the percentage of laborer in working age reaches nearly 92%; the cultural life of people has been improved; 100% of people use clean water; security situation maintained, etc…
 
The Tien Giang provincial People's Committee awarded the emulation flag to My Hoi commune meeting the national standard of building new rural and awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals contributed much to the construction of new rural in 2017.
