The government leader emphasised that the country’s achievements were greatly contributed to by the VFF and its affiliates, which played an important role in strengthening national unity.
PM Phuc stated that monthly government meetings always witnessed the attendance of the front, which conveyed the people’s concerns and wishes as well as putting forward its proposals on governance.
He also appreciated the VFF’s efforts to support poor people and those affected by natural disasters in the past year.
The prime minister expects that in 2018 the front would continue to cement national unity and build public consensus on implementing the Party and State’s policies.
He asked the VFF to step up its communication with the people so that they can comprehend the Party and State’s policies as the ubiquity of toxic news on social media is undermining the confidence of the people in the authorities.
