Tan Ly Tay is proclaimed the new rural commune

On January 19, Tan Ly Tay commune has just been proclaimed the new rural commune by the Chau Thanh district People’s Committee and the Provincial Standing Steering Committee for National Targeted Program to build new rural areas.

After five years of implementation of the national target program on building new rural areas (2012 - 2017), Tan Ly Tay commune has mobilized investment capital of over VND60 billion contributed by people.

The movement of building new rural areas has spread widely and achieved many remarkable achievements. The material and spiritual life of the people has been improved and rural infrastructure has been upgraded.

By the end of 2017, the per capita income of Tan Ly Tay commune reached VND38 million/person/year. The system of inter-commune roads, hamlets were asphalted and concretized to meet the demand of transport and transportation of people.

Deputy Chairman of Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan praised the achievements of the Tan Ly Tay commune Party Committee, authority and people over 5 years of building new countryside. This was the motivation for the locality to bring into full play its potential and strength to continue raising the criteria of new rural communes.
