To visit and extend New Year greetings to soldiers of DK1 and Con Dao district

On January 21, the High Command of Navy Region 2 organized a visit and extending New Year's greeting to to the officials and soldiers on duty at the marine defence platform DK1 and Con Dao distict, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province with the participation of nearly 40 reporters from newspapers and radio stations in the country.

Colonel Nguyen Quoc Van, Deputy Commissar of Navy Region 2 said that this mission aims at visiting and presenting gifts of the President, Ministry of Defense, agencies, departments to help the officers and soldiers enjoy the upcoming Tet (traditional Lunar New Year).

The trip aimed to encourage soldiers and people stationed at sea and on islands to fulfil their tasks, contributing to protecting the country's sea and island sovereignty.
