The National Youth Committee of Vietnam works with Tien Giang province

ABO - On May 18, the delegation of the National Committee for Youth of Vietnam led by Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Member of the National Committee for Youth of Vietnam Le Khanh Hai worked with the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) about inspection and implementation the law and policies on youth and youth work in 2018.

According to the report of the PPC, province has more than 355,164 youths (from 16 to 30 years old). Over the past years, the province has identified the care and development of youth as one of the key tasks in the socio-economic development process of the province.

At the meeting, participants discussed the implementation of Resolution 45 of the Government on strengthening the leadership of the Party for youth work in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization; the result of implementation of Decision 1042 by the Prime Minister on promulgation of the plan for implementation of the strategy for youth development in Vietnam in the second phase (2016-2020) in the province such as difficulties and advantages in developing youth policies; Organizing and solving difficulties for young people in dialogues with youth, training for junior and senior students in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Member of the National Committee for Youth of Vietnam Le Khanh Hai highly appreciated the achievement of Tien Giang in implementing laws, policies for youth and youth work in the province.
