50 mothers of Tien Giang province to posthumously bestow "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" title

ABO – The Tien Giang provincial People's Committee has organized the meeting to implement the plan to posthumously award and bestow "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" title in 2018.

According to the Decision No. 447/QD-CTN and Decision No. 448/QD-CTN of the State President, on the ceremony of awarding, posthumously to confer the "Hero Vietnamese Mother" title in 2018, the Tien Giang province has 50 mothers to be posthumously awarded and bestowed the "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" title by the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, including 3 mothers alive and 47 mothers passed away. It is expected that the ceremony will be held at 8 pm on June 28 or 29, 2018 at Ap Bac Conference Hall of the Tien Giang provincial Convention Center.

At the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Duc noted that the concerned sectors should focus on ensuring the security and order, food hygiene and safety, health care for the mother and delegates to attend the conference, etc... The posthumously awarding, bestowing "Vietnamese Hero Mother" title ceremony aims at to honor the great work of the Vietnamese mothers devoted and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and national defense. Thus, the ceremony must be organized in accordance with the regulations and solemnness, safety and meaningfulness.
